Pike Fishing

Lure fishing (or even fly fishing) for pike requires powerful rods with heavy lines and wire traces will land pike quicker and give them more chance of survival as they can be returned more quickly. Advertise or browse for leaders or traces, wire tippets, swivels, snaps and larger flies. Barbless hooks are best and a large landing net is vital.

Carp Fishing

Carp fishing can feature a large range of specialist equipment including carp rigs, marker floats, bite indicators, etc. and watch for strong carp rods and reels. We advise posting ads for tents, bivvies, sleeping bags, etc. with the MISC sub-category together with items such as unhooking mats and scales.
